Women Safe Self-Defense
As you are at work or at school there are predators planning unique ways of finding, abusing and attacking their next victims.
They plan ways of earning the trust and empathy of women or leading them to an isolated area.
These are known as predator lures.

*  Every two minutes, someone in the U.S. is  sexually assaulted.

*  1 in 6 women will be sexually assaulted in her lifetime.

*  College age women are 4 times more likely to be sexually assaulted.

*  Approximately 73% of rape victims know        their assailant

*  Only 6% of rapists will ever spend a day in jail.

*  44% of rape victims are under the age of 18.

*  80% of rape victims are under the age of 30.

Nina Wood  is a 1st Degree Black Belt, Certified Self Defense Instructor of YI-DAN CHA GI Martial Arts Center, Inc., also is an agent of The National Security Alliance Women Safe Network and an Inductee of The United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
In 2010, Mrs. Wood was awarded "Woman of The Year" 2010 from The International Martial Arts Council, Hall of Fame.

Several types of programs are available for individuals, schools, church groups, your work place and organizations:



FOR WOMEN, TAUGHT BY A WOMAN
Seminars: Seminars are are available for schools, church groups and organizations.  We cover the basics in awareness issues, statistics and basic self-defense.  Also covered are many lures that women predators use to get a woman to an isolated area.  For example, did you know that Ted Bundy used a fake cast to ask for help from women?
 
1 month trial: Learn the basics of Self-Defense such as the four basic striking zones.
Self-Defense techniques are taught on grabs, chokes and ground techniques.  We also discuss the laws of what self-defense is and when and how it can be used.
 
Fee: $32.00
Start Date:  May start any Tuesday night / 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm
Age:  Must be 13 or older.
 
Self-Defense Belt Rank System: Many women feel more confident in learning self-defense and want to continue.  A Women Self-Defense Belt Ranking System has been designed by YI-DAN CHA GI Martial Arts, Certified through the International Martial Arts Council of America.
Martial Arts instruction not only teaches the physical aspects of defending yourself but  mental awareness, respect, self-discipline and confidence. 
 
Fee: As low as $42.00 per month.

Mrs. Wood was awarded for her passion and work with women and childrens' safety issues.
