* New York State Senator Mary Lou Rath introduced a resolution on Wood's behalf in Albany, NY. The resolution was passed by the state for his standard of excellence in all his endeavors and his community involvement in July 2004.
* Master Wood has organized, promoted and ran Kick-A-Thon fundraisers for such organizations as The Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Kick Drugs Out Of America Program (Jump Start), The American Red Cross and The Defend And Survive Program, Inc. raising thousands of dollars for these organizations through his efforts.
